Shanghai's newest big theatre, the white 'Chinese Fan' by Snohetta and ECADI, opens in October 2026 beside Expo Culture Park. Its three halls seat 2,000 (Harmony Hall, with one of Asia's largest stages), 1,200 and 1,000, and the opening season has 82 performances including Tosca, Aida and Der Rosenkavalier.
