Koenji's beloved 1933 bathhouse under a curved karahafu temple roof, famous for its milky 'milk bath', a daily changing bath and four tubs at different temperatures that regulars use for hot-cold alternation. Mt Fuji murals cover both sides, and the gallery space is booked years ahead.
