Marina De Grandis is a bookbinder and restorer who makes every notebook, sketchbook, wallet and bag herself, from Tuscan vegetable-tanned leather and Fabriano paper. Prices are fair for handmade work. Bookbinding is one of Venice's oldest trades, and her small workshop near Santi Giovanni e Paolo is where artists and students buy their sketchbooks.
