In 16th-century fruit-and-vegetable stores between Campo San Giacometto and the Grand Canal, a bacaro turned restaurant in 2007-08 that kept its counter for local regulars. VeneziaToday calls its baccalà mantecato, whipped almost to a cream, one of the city's best; fegato alla veneziana stays on the menu with Sant'Erasmo artichokes in season.
