Marisa Convento is an impiraressa, one of the women who string Venetian glass beads, a craft added to UNESCO's intangible heritage list in 2020 after Venetian perlere and impiraresse pushed for it; she sat on the committee. In her workshop at Bottega Cini she threads tiny seed beads into necklaces and tells their trading history.
