Vienna's most famous market, about 130 stalls in a long strip along the Wienzeile between Karlsplatz and Kettenbrückengasse, selling everything from Viennese vinegar and fine cheeses to Turkish, Indian and Vietnamese food, with market restaurants such as Neni and Umar fish. A new market hall with 13 regional producers has a green roof open to the public.

- Come on a Saturday morning, when the weekly flea market sets up at the Kettenbrückengasse end (U4) beside the food stalls.
- Stalls close on Sundays; only the restaurants open, from 09:00.
- Walk the market from Karlsplatz to Kettenbrückengasse and look up at Otto Wagner's Majolikahaus on the Linke Wienzeile at the end.
