The largest new park built in Vienna since 1974, opened in 2008 on the old Nordbahnhof freight yard as the green heart of a new quarter. Designed by Hager of Zurich, it has a 'tree veil' of 280 trees, reed gardens and orange steel posts with ropes and hammocks for children.
