Karin Daan's three pink granite triangles on the Keizersgracht, unveiled on 5 September 1987, were the world's first monument to gay men and lesbians persecuted by the Nazis. The points aim at the National Monument on the Dam, the Anne Frank House and the COC, the Dutch LGBTI organisation.
