Built around 1620 for the merchant Willem Bartolotti, one of the largest merchant houses of its day, with a richly decorated facade that follows the bend of the Herengracht. Inside, a whaling-ship owner added a Rococo 'Blue Room' in the 18th century; you may open doors and drawers on the audio tour.
