Abraham Tuschinski's picture palace opened on 28 October 1921 in a mix of Art Deco, Jugendstil and Amsterdam School; I amsterdam calls it perhaps the world's most stunning cinema. It still shows first-run films, so the way in is simply to buy a ticket.
