Budapest's largest lake, 16 hectares, created in 1978 as a flood reservoir on the Szilas stream and protected since 1997; Funzine calls it 'Budapest's Balaton'. Locals walk the lakeside promenade, fish for carp and pike, grill at the fire pits in the Cinkota woods, and since 2022 visit a small farm with native animals and a lookout tower.
