Budapest's second-largest locally protected area after Naplás-tó, along the Rákos stream on the slopes where medieval diets once gathered on the Rákos field. Wet meadows, reeds and alder groves shelter about 200 of the city's 267 bird species and its largest population of hazel dormice.
