An open two-seat chairlift that has run since 1970. It floats just under a kilometre up the forested slope of János-hegy with the city opening up behind you. Locals use it to start or end a walk in the Buda Hills.

Good to know
- Ride up, then take a short forest walk to the Children's Railway station at János-hegy.
- The Elisabeth Lookout at the top of János-hegy has been closed since February 2026 for structural repairs, so do not plan around it.
- Bus 291 from Nyugati station goes to the lower station.
