Started in 1970 by the Museo de la Ciudad on Plaza Dorrego, where independence was announced to the city in 1816, the Sunday antiques fair has grown along Defensa street; there is a Feria de las Artes on Humberto 1° and a 'Patio de Tango' on the square.
