Carlos Thays's square, opened for the 1910 centenary, holds Jules Lagae's 1914 Monument to the Two Congresses, a monolith marking kilometre zero of the national roads and, in neighbouring Plaza Mariano Moreno, a signed cast of Rodin's 'The Thinker'.
