The heart of Expo 2020: a steel trellis dome by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill turned into a 360-degree projection screen at night, with seating for 3,000. The first evening show traditionally starts with the maghrib call to prayer, when the dome switches from day to night mode. Look down too: bronze plaques under your feet tell their own Expo story.
