A Twelver Shia mosque built in 1979 by Bur Dubai's Iranian community, hidden in the lanes behind the Textile Souk: an onion dome and facade covered in azure Persian faience with floral patterns and Quranic calligraphy in green, yellow, red and white. Most people walking from the abra to the souk pass within metres and never look up.
