A small museum opened in 2008 inside Turkey's largest mental-health hospital, founded in 1924 by Mazhar Osman, the founder of modern Turkish psychiatry. Exhibits include his belongings and 1934 surgery logbook, a straitjacket, an early electroshock device and old drug bottles.
