A Byzantine basilica-style building that after 1475 served Catholic and Armenian deportees from Caffa in Crimea as the church of Saint Nicholas, with separate altars, until it became a mescit in 1630. It is an unusual late-Byzantine reuse of the early Christian basilica form, oriented north-south.
