A 1585-86 mosque for grand vizier Mesih Mehmed Pasha, attributed to Mimar Sinan, raised on a vaulted substructure of shops on a sloping site. Unusually, the pasha's grave, not a fountain, sits in the centre of the arcaded forecourt.
