A tiny standing-room bodega founded in 1867 by a family from Ricla in Aragón, a few steps below Plaza Mayor and easy to walk past. Tiled bar, wine jars and bottle-lined shelves; cheap wine and sherry drawn straight from the tinajas, also sold by the litre, and a classic vermú de grifo. In the Civil War its cellar served as a bomb shelter.
