One of the few Gothic buildings left in Madrid, built from 1520 by Francisco de Vargas, of the family San Isidro worked for, and finished by his son the Bishop of Plasencia. Inside is a Renaissance altarpiece by Francisco Giralte, a disciple of Berruguete (about 1550); since November 2025 it opens free one morning a week.
