The neo-Mudéjar church (1912) of the Virgen de la Paloma, the painting of Our Lady of Solitude that is one of the most venerated images in Madrid. Her August fiesta is one of the city's three big August devotions, with San Cayetano and San Lorenzo. Since 1978 the pews face the altar in a circle.
