Behind Gran Vía since 1946, Mostenses is the city's most multicultural market: Filipino, Korean, Latin American and Spanish stalls side by side, with tropical fruit and spices at neighbourhood prices. Madrid Secreto calls it more vecinal and less touristy than other central markets; in summer the in-house restaurant Rapaz runs a 'Chiringuito' where Michelin-trained guest chefs cook menus under EUR 20.
