Madrid's oldest tablao, opened on Plaza de Santa Ana in 1911 as Villa Rosa and known as 'the cathedral of flamenco'. The 1927 facade of tiles and ceramic reliefs is by Alfonso Romero Mesa, the Sevillian who also tiled Las Ventas; inside, Alhambra-style arches and tile panels of Madrid scenes.
