An 1856 taberna whose facade still reads 'vinos, finos, cervezas, refrescos y café', with a zinc bar, coffered ceiling and centenarian tiles. Diego Cabrera of Salmón Gurú runs it: a tapas bar at the front and a cocktail bar upstairs, where forgotten Madrid drinks such as the media combinación (vermut with gin) are revived.
