A closed-courtyard farmstead that grew from a 12th-century monastic grange and is held by tradition to be the only surviving house of Petrarch's Milan years (1353-1361). Saved from conversion into a residence in 1994 by a citizens' association, it sits by the springs and water meadows of the Parco delle Cave; only locals know it.
