A 15th-century Lombard Gothic church opposite the Palace of Justice, paid for by the Portinari, the Medici bankers who also built the famous chapel in Sant'Eustorgio. The Grifi Chapel holds the Stories of St Ambrose frescoed by Bernardino Butinone and Bernardo Zenale.
