A garden-city quarter begun in 1911 for Milan's middle class, named after the journalists its streets commemorate. In Via Lepanto stand the round 'igloo' houses designed by engineer Mario Cavalle after the Second World War as temporary homes for bombed-out families; only two keep their original form. A residential area only architecture fans and locals walk.
