Laid out from 1893 for Charles III by landscape architect Édouard André: the tropical 'Petite Afrique' slope (giant Ficus macrophylla, ginkgo) on one side and the formal Boulingrins lawns on the other, framing the Casino facade. The pavilions that filled the Boulingrins were cleared in 2019 and the lawns redesigned by Michel Desvigne.
