The house museum of the Comité National des Traditions Monégasques, founded in 1924 by old Monegasque families to keep their identity alive. Its exhibition 'I Carrugi d'a Roca' walks you through the Rock's medieval lanes, the Monegasque language and the people and processions that lived in them, next to a room of Monaco ceramics.

Good to know
- Look for the Committee's emblem: the Porte Major, the Rock's gate completed on 10 January 1533.
- Groups can book a visit by email ([email protected]).
- The same Committee runs adult Monegasque language classes and hands out the Pan de Natale at the Condamine market before Christmas.
- The Comité National des Traditions Monégasques, which runs the museum, gives Monegasque language classes for adults from October (advanced Mondays 18:00-19:00, conversation Tuesdays 17:00-18:00).
- On 23 and 24 December, 08:30-13:00, the Comité has handed out the Pan de Natale, the traditional Monegasque Christmas bread, at the Condamine market. It also offers a free 'Munegascu' typeface for the Monegasque language.
