A tiny blini café near Taganka open since the early 1960s, with a giant samovar of hot water on the counter and student-canteen prices. Besides yeast blini with sour cream or condensed milk there are pelmeni, sausages with stewed cabbage and beef stroganoff, cooked the way Soviet canteens did forty years ago.
