Josef Fanta won the competition for this station with an Art Nouveau entrance hall, a semicircular pavilion whose former ticket hall is now a café; the station is the largest Art Nouveau monument in the Czech Republic. Go up from the modern underground concourse to the historic hall and its towers topped with glass globes.
