Founded by Charles IV on the edge of the Nusle valley facing Vyšehrad, the church has a star vault 24 m wide whose ribs are only 20 cm thick. It also holds a copy of the Holy Steps and the Bethlehem cave, the oldest Nativity scene in a Prague church.
