SAPA Vietnamese market (Little Hanoi)

Tržnice Sapa

MarketLocal favourite

Since 1999-2000 the former Písnice meat plant has been the centre of Prague's Vietnamese community, nicknamed Little Hanoi: wholesale halls, groceries, two community halls for weddings and festivals, a Buddhist temple and pho bistros with lunchtime queues. Praguers drive out on weekends for pho and Asian groceries; visitors know it only from the news.
