The roof of Dům Radost, the functionalist 'kachlíkárna' by Josef Havlíček and Karel Honzík (1932-34) and Prague's first high-rise at 52 metres, was designed to be used but stayed closed for over forty years until 2019. Now it is a summer bar with a view across Žižkov to Prague Castle, with DJs, concerts, quizzes, slam poetry and rooftop cinema.
