A fort probably founded in the 10th century on the east bank, just over 3 km from Prague Castle. Inside are the Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul, the national cemetery and the 11th-century Rotunda of St. Martin, Prague's oldest. Time Out calls it a less-touristy alternative to the castle.
