Good to know
- Look for the statue of writer Clarice Lispector at the start and get an açaí (Time Out).
- The area is a protected heritage zone around the Forte Duque de Caxias; a 2025 graffiti on the wall was removed for that reason (Veja Rio).
- Combine it with the eco-trail up to the Leme fort above (Time Out).
