Since 2020 a new permanent large-scale work by an international artist has been added each year in the grounds around Rosendal Palace, from Elmgreen & Dragset's linked lifebuoys to Giuseppe Penone's bronze and granite. Locals find the pieces on their Djurgården walks; few visitors know the trail exists.
