A small church on the busy Rialto-San Zaccaria route where Canaletto was baptised and is buried under the floor of the Gussoni chapel. That chapel, with reliefs of the Evangelists and a Pietà by Pietro Lombardo, is a jewel of early Venetian Renaissance; Titian's St James the Apostle and a Giandomenico Tiepolo ceiling fresco are in the nave.
