Giovanna Zanella learned to make shoes from the Venetian master Rolando Segalin and since 1995 has made eccentric made-to-measure shoes, each pair fitted to the client's foot. Artists and collectors in town for the Biennale and the Film Festival stop at her window; it sits in a side calle off the Rialto-San Marco crowd.
