The clock tower finished in 1497, with its gilded astronomical dial, the zodiac and the two bronze 'Mori' who strike the bell on top. The guided tour climbs inside past the clockwork that Bartolomeo Ferracina rebuilt in the 1750s, including the mechanism of the Magi procession.

- The ticket also gives free entry to the Museo Correr, the Archaeological Museum and the Marciana rooms: buy it first and you skip the bigger St Mark's ticket.
