Run by the San Tomà gondola station, this is described by its gondoliers as the oldest of the five remaining traghetti. It links San Polo with the Calle del Traghetto in San Marco, the shortcut between the Frari area and Campo Santo Stefano. Residents use it daily; most visitors queue for the Accademia or Rialto bridges instead.
