The house in the old spa village of Heiligenstadt where Beethoven, going deaf, wrote the 'Heiligenstadt Testament' in 1802. Fourteen rooms show his ear trumpets, his death mask and the key to his coffin, and the first sketches of the 'Eroica' were made here.
