Opened in 1911 as the 'Invalidendank-Kino' behind the Volkstheater and famous for decades for old Austrian and German films at 16:00 for a pensioner crowd, it closed in 2019 after 107 years. After crowdfunding and renovation it reopened in spring 2026 under the Votiv Kino team, with arthouse films and a red-velvet bar.
