The Plachutta family's Gasthaus behind the Opera, opened in 2011 in green-panelled wood booths. The point is the veal Wiener Schnitzel, hand-beaten and fried until the crumb puffs up; Gault&Millau also likes the Krautfleckerl and calls it hard to beat for Viennese cooking.
