A street of one-storey workshops near the Clock Tower, renovated in 2008, where blacksmiths, coppersmiths, tinsmiths, stove makers and knife makers still hammer from early morning. Mehmet Şakar has made knives here for 50 years in his father's 10 m2 shop; the small Ahi Evran Museum and art gallery tells the guild story.
