A 1958 neighbourhood lake park rebuilt in the 1990s with mock-Greek, Roman and Egyptian courtyards, statues and a tiled Roman-style pavilion. Its long shape and choice of flat paths or stairs make it a jogging route for Xicheng residents; The Beijinger calls its lesser-seen sights a must for locals, and visitors never come this far north of Deshengmen.
