One of the last old-school Iranian canteens of Deira, hidden in an alley off Baniyas Road with a juice counter and a few tables of pool-blue plastic chairs. The Iranian community knows it as Aroos-e Bandar; it is famous for a thick aash, and the banter runs in Persian, Hindi, Dari and Pashto.
