Wren's domed church (1672-1679), whose 63-foot dome on twelve Corinthian columns is based on his original design for St Paul's; Sir John Summerson called it 'the pride of English Architecture'. In the centre sits Henry Moore's massive white stone altar (1987), ringed by Patrick Heron's coloured kneelers.
